'Dancing With The Stars' Week 5... The Afterglow Of Triumph
It so could have gone either way Monday night, following Will Levy's torn ankle ligament... but as he
explained later, the Cuban-American was determined to triumph on DWTS's Latin week... out of a sense of national pride, if nothing else.
You can see the relief... and sense of triumph on his beautiful face after he and partner Cheryl Burke delivered the goods in what was a challenging, sensual Tango. The judges were certainly impressed, awarding the duo a score of 29/30—following last week's dismal and disillusioning low of 24/20.
Onward and upward, as Season 14 reaches its halfway point. Now if only annoying Katharine Jenkins would move out of the way, we'd have an all-clear for William Levy to take home the crown. *

William Levy Eases On Down The Road To Another 'DWTS' Victory

Carrie Ann: "Whew... I'm gathering myself... That was ridiculously amazing. You are so convincing. All I could think of was ‘The Latin dancing James Bond is in the house!’”
Len: "I saw mood, I saw passion, I saw sensuality and color. Well done."
Bruno: "Pulssssssating passion, thrrrrrrobbing intensity. Slick, sexy, coooolicious!"

The only other couple to score as high was my nemesis, irritating Barbie doll Katherine Jenkins and partner Mark Ballas, who also came in with 29/30. She continues to be Will's primary competition... like a gnat you keep swatting out that just won't go away.
The low score for the night went to beanie-wearing Gavin DeGraw & Karina Smirnoff, with 19. Next down-to-the-ground were Melissa Gilbert & Maksim Chmerkovskiy, with 21/30. Gladys Knight also continues to score in the lower tier, and seems in danger of being ousted.

Tonight, Tuesday, April 17, the bottom two pairs will perform a dance-off before the judges decided which one will be eliminated. Pack your bags, Gavin, baby!
The show went on for Levy despite an MRI that showed torn ligaments after he injured his ankle Sunday night and doctor's insistence that he take time off to heal. Will said after the triumphant performance: "He said my ligament was ripped up. You need to rest. But, I said to him that tonight was no resting." Going by the orgasmic screams from the audience, we were all relieved.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday night's DWTS elimination show, The View co-host Sherri Shepherd got the

Back to People: Here's the text alongside the mag's website teaser:
Six-pack abs? Yawn. Dancing with the Stars' breakout heartthrob, William Levy, boasts what his partner Cheryl Burke calls "12-pack abs." And his fans have definitely noticed. "I have never heard it that
loud in there," Burke says of the deafening roar that fills the ballroom when Levy takes the floor. "He's like a rock star!" But while he's turning millions of heads each week on the ABC hit, Levy, 31, is also marveling at how far he's come. "To come to this country and receive this kind of love from people you don’t even know, it's amazing," he tells People in this week's cover story.

The Telenova star and father of two—son Christopher, 6, and daughter Kailey, 2—with on-and-off girlfriend Elizabeth GutiĆ©rrez, also opens up about his early lean years in Cuba before emigrating to the U.S. at 15. "I try to give my kids everything I never had," he says.
And below is Will being interviewed in Spanish for People En Espanol! I can hardly keep up with so much fabulous coverage of our Willy!
